About Jonathan
My name is Jonathan, and I am in my fourth year of my university studies at the University of Auckland. I am studying towards a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Geography. I have been a passionate teacher of various subjects, including mathematics and English, for around 4 years. I have taught privately and at offices, so I am well equipped with how to effectively tutor students and tailor lessons to match the student's needs individually. I start with an introduction with the student so I get to know them and learn more about their strengths and weaknesses. Then, I would plan my class to be tailored for that student based on both their personal goals and their weaknesses. I believe there is no 'one-size-fits-all' teaching method when it comes to education. Classes are typically an hour long and are negotiable. I had the great privilege of working privately and at offices, so I am capable of teaching for a wide range of audiences and age groups.
