About Ken
Hello! I’m Ken Miaka, a passionate Mathematics and Business Studies teacher with over six years of experience.
I became a teacher because I enjoy helping learners discover that even difficult subjects can become simple and enjoyable when taught in the right way. I believe every student can improve when given individual attention, patience, encouragement and the right guidance.
My private tutoring approach is centred on understanding the learner, identifying their gaps and teaching at their pace. I focus not only on getting the correct answer, but on helping students understand why and build the confidence to solve problems independently.
For me, teaching is not just about grades—it is about helping learners believe in themselves and realise their potential.

I believe every learner is different, and effective tutoring begins by understanding the individual student rather than simply following a syllabus.

My Lesson Fee
My private one-on-one lessons are KSh 2,500 per hour.
This fee covers more than just the one-hour lesson. It includes:
