About Courtnay
I am well-travelled, dedicated and enthusiastic. I am a hard worker. I graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinderkinetics and have 6 years of experience working with children. I am very passionate about improving the well-being and development of children in all aspects of their lives. I take a holistic approach both in my teaching and in my personal life. I live a well-balanced life and I am always eager to learn, adapt and grow. I recently finished my 3 year contract working abroad as an Elementary PE (PYP) teacher at the American International School of Kuwait. And now I wish to extend my knowledge to more students online.

All my lessons are scientifically based and aimed at improving the overall neuromotor development of children between the ages of 4- 13 years. I ensure that my lessons are a combination of physically demanding and fun at the same time. Lessons are creative and energetic.
I offer my classes in English and Afrikaans, however anyone can join as these lessons are based on movement so students can observe and easily follow along.
A typical lesson will include a warm up and cool down, a focus on a health topic each lesson as well as the development of a specific skill for that week. Activities are physically demanding and fun at the same time. Lessons vary depending on student age, starting from 4 years old and cut off at 13 year old.
