About Frieda
I am a simultaneous interpreter who has lived abroad for many years, also teaching in a foreign language. Soon I will achieve my second degree in Human Sciences, address educator. As a teacher, I have worked with extremely diverse people: from beginner, to advanced, middle school teens, high school graduates, political refugees, Cambridge academics. Everyone can overcome their insecurities and achieve the results they want with the support of a good teacher. My 20 years experience has allowed me to expand my methodologies over time and to tackle the subjects with variety and determination without ever forgetting the main objective: the joy of learning. I have had many children among my pupils, including cases of autism, Down syndrome and other learning disabilities. Challenges don't scare me. There are no bad pupils, only bad teachers. My lessons are based on participation. They are active lessons. Deductive teaching method is great, but learning notions that sit there like lifeless objects in a box doesn't help anyone. What we learn must be alive, active, absorbed by the speaker so that he can treasure it for his own existence. If there is need to schematize I can teach the best methodologies of quick notes, the Cornell method or the synthesis by topics. Each time it will be a different journey because we are unique, as is our brain. The most important thing is to get in touch and understand what is the goal to be achieved and then face it together.
