As a passionate tutor with a background in Biochemistry, I tailor my lessons to meet each student’s unique learning needs. I tutor students of all levels and ages — from high school science students to university undergraduates — and focus on building both understanding and confidence.
Lesson Structure & Teaching Style:
Each lesson runs for approximately 1 hour, and the first session is dedicated to getting to know the student, understanding their goals, and identifying key areas for support. I usually start with a short diagnostic assessment to gauge their current level and design a personalised study plan accordingly.
I use a mix of active recall, problem-solving techniques, and conceptual explanations to reinforce understanding, encourage critical thinking, and improve exam performance. I believe learning is most effective when it's two-way, so I always welcome feedback and adjust my approach as needed.
