Over 25 years experience tutoring privately & with county music service, as a grammar school Head of Music, lecturer, and examiner for ABRSM and Edexcel/Pearson. Honours degree in music with classical piano performance, postgraduate degrees in Computing/Music Technology and Education, plus diplomas in organ and jazz piano.

Having experienced the very strict, formal approach in my early years, I am myself rebelliously flexible, and encourage a creative approach, though still with attention to the important traditional matters of technique passed on to me by my later teachers, carrying on the legacy of Beethoven.
