About Dr Ali
Over two decades, I have enjoyed teaching mathematics. I worked as a teacher at high schools, as a private tutor for groups and individual students as well as a university academic. I have the experience to explain and simplify mathematical concepts to students and help them understand and enjoy mathematics. Currently, I work as a tutor at the University of Melbourne.

My main focus on teaching is to make sure that the student has the basic foundations of the subject. Once I understand the level that they are in, I begin to simplify the mathematical concepts so that the student gains self-confidence to understand the material and feels encouraged to solve further problems by themselves.
