About Patricia
I am a teacher of 20 years’ experience; this has been in a wide range of primary schools.
I have previous experience of on-to-one tuition, teaching children aged 4-11.
It is my aim to identify the student's strengths and weaknesses quickly, as this enables me to create an effective study programme that will help them achieve their goals.
It is therefore helpful if both pupil and parent/carer have goals, or areas where they feel support is required.
I offer regular verbal progress reports, and this can be at the end of each session if required.
I can offer homework suggestions to consolidate work covered in the sessions.
I aim for a good rapport with pupils, to put them at their ease to ask questions where further demonstration of new ideas is required. Pupils can expect patience and encouragement from me.
My recent teaching has ensured that I have -to-date understanding and experience of the current primary curriculum.
Finally, I am highly organised and have an excellent internet connection!
