About Stef
I am a Chemistry MSc Graduate.
In the past I have helped students work towards achieving their desired grades in GCSE Maths and Sciences, plus A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
With some additional support from myself, previous students have obtained the grades they needed to progress on to the next level of study they wanted to pursue e.g. accepted to their chosen college course! Additionally, during 2019-2020 I was appointed a role as a PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) Leader at The University of Bristol. This position meant that I, along with a fellow undergraduate student, organised and led study sessions weekly for first years which covered course content and focused on what these individuals requested. We then tailored the sessions to their needs.

I find it most effective to discuss what students know about the topic at hand and provide useful information that aids their learning. Additionally, in my personal experience I have found that going through example questions together and then providing additional questions for students to answer is the most effective way to learn. This helps to understand what is required for a top scoring answer!
