About Kristina

Hello students! As we begin this journey together, I want to take a moment to introduce myself and set the tone for our learning environment. My Background and Experience: I've been teaching for over 2 years, specializing in this Emotional support special education area. I teach all main subjects including social skills. During that time, I've had the privilege of working with hundreds of students just like you. I hold a master's degree in education and regularly attend professional development workshops to stay current with the latest teaching methods. My goal is to help each of you develop critical thinking skills that will serve you well beyond this class. My Teaching Philosophy I believe in creating a supportive classroom where everyone feels comfortable participating. There's no such thing as a "silly question" - I encourage you to speak up if you're unsure about something. We're all here to learn and grow together. What You Can Expect From Me - Clear explanations of concepts - Timely feedback on assignments - Extra help during office hours if needed - Fair and consistent grading - A positive, encouraging attitude Building Trust and Respect Trust and mutual respect are essential in our classroom. I promise to always: - Be prepared for each lesson - Listen to your concerns - Treat you with kindness and respect - Maintain appropriate professional boundaries In return, I ask that you: - Come to class ready to learn - Participate actively - Complete assignments on time - Treat your classmates with respect Conclusion I'm truly looking forward to working with each of you this year. Together, we'll create a positive learning environment where everyone can succeed. Remember, my door is always open if you need extra support. Let's make this an amazing year of growth and discovery!
