About Thomas
Former Engineer (3 years in telecoms), double master (Telecoms and Applied Sciences for Music / Acoustics) converted for 3 years as a mathematics teacher in high school. I am very attached to the notions of pedagogy and take the time to adapt my methods to all the students I teach. I have prepared several classes in the baccalaureate (including final S-maths) and can help any student to the level required by the subject and the section he has chosen.

My method is mainly to focus on understanding the course. I think that learning without understanding is useless, especially in maths (which is a subject that is essentially based on logic and the capacity for abstraction). In order to allow the student to become familiar with the notions of his course (which are never above his comprehension skills), I introduce the notions of the course with the help of examples and situation. simple where the logic of the student is enough to make him guess some of the properties of the course, but also to visualize the mathematical phenomenon addressed, to approach the course with more hindsight and self-confidence. My exercises are progressive, at first basic and then more and more complete and complex. During their realization, I accompany the student in his reflection and help him to focus in the completion of the exercise, because I also want him to take pride in having finished it himself.
