About Irene

I lived in France and upon my return to Ireland I taught French for 20 years to Leaving Certificate students. I enjoy watching French films on Netflix and I love the series of French books about 'Le Petit Nicolas', the English version of 'Dennis the Menace'

About the lesson

Feel comfortable in practising your French without the worry of an incorrect accent. I can teach you the relevant skills with patient practice.
I have a track record of helping students prepare for oral French exams as well as working as a state examiner.

I have known Irene for many years as a teaching colleague in the secondary school where we both taught. I have always been impressed by her commitment to her students, her attention to detail, and her ability to make learning interesting. Her students always progressed well and became competent in the language.
