About Giulia
Hello! My name is Giulia and I am a jazz clarinettist on the UK jazz scene, known for my expressive playing and engaging teaching style. As a graduate of the prestigious Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, I combine professional performance experience with a genuine passion for music education. My lessons are creative, inspiring, and tailored to each student’s goals - whether developing strong musicianship, exploring improvisation, or simply finding joy in making music. Drawing from my love of jazz I strive to create a welcoming environment where students of all ages and levels can grow in confidence, skill, and artistry under my guidance.

With five years of experience teaching woodwind instruments, I take a creative and student-centred approach to music education. My lessons typically last between 30 - 60 mins and are tailored to each learner’s needs, whether they’re beginners or more advanced players of any age. I aim to make music accessible and enjoyable for everyone, drawing inspiration from all genres—especially jazz and classical. My teaching focuses on developing strong musicianship skills while encouraging creativity, expression, and confidence, ensuring each student not only learns their instrument but also finds their unique musical voice.
