About Lily
Hi, I’m Lily Naughton, a junior at Colorado College majoring in English and Philosophy. With strong skills in writing and forming arguments, coupled with my experience as a peer tutor, I am confident I would be a great tutor. My background has equipped me to help any student develop the tools needed for academic success, utilizing my executive functioning skills. I possess qualities such as patience and adaptability, allowing me to work effectively with students of all learning styles. Additionally, I’m a certified yoga instructor, which has enhanced my ability to stay calm and focused under pressure. Outside of academics, I love spending time outdoors, embracing the natural beauty of Colorado!

I previously tutored throughout my entire highschool experience in subjects such as AP U.S. History, African American History, beginner French, AP Lang, and Honors English classes.
As an English and Philosophy major I feel extremely confident in my ability to write a thesis, form a coherent argument, assist with grammar and spelling and write research papers.
I am a flexible, cooperative and empathetic person who is willing to help any student at any level achieve their goals. I understand the pressure of being a student and would love to share executive functioning skills that I have acquired over the years to be a good student! I have mastered note taking, close reading, and keeping an organized agenda.
