About Jialu
So, I'm currently post-A Levels and waiting to go to university. I know that, back when I did my GCSEs, it would have been incredibly helpful to simply understand what to write to get the marks. Often, I understood the concepts, but I just wouldn't include exactly what the mark scheme was looking for, and that frustrated me to no end. Luckily, my school paired me with a sixth-form student who very patiently guided me through everything, step by step, helping me understand the tips and tricks needed to succeed in GCSEs. That experience had a lasting impact on me. It inspired me to do the same for younger students when I reached Years 12 and 13, and seeing the difference that kind of support could make only reinforced how valuable it was. Now, as I prepare to start university, it's something I'm keen to continue - helping students build not only their understanding of the content, but also the exam technique and confidence needed to achieve the grades they're capable of.

My teaching method is to get you the grades you desire. I teach by the specification for each exam board and make sure you can hit the marking points on the mark scheme. Lessons will be one hour in length.
