About Ava
i'm ava, an a-level student currently working towards becoming a full-time geography teacher! geography has always been a passion of mine and i always noticed other people's frustrations for it.
i'm here to pass on the way i was taught and here to make geography one less frustration in your life.
i'm friendly and professional, and as a student myself, will understand you more clearly! i provide an open course of communication, with many options of how to assist you on your geography studies.

teaching geography the way it should be - simply.
in our sessions, we'll tailor it to the student's understanding, keeping it light and straightforward. who said geography had to be complicated?
a standard lesson should last 60 minutes. i recommend investing in 1 or 2 60 minute lessons a week for at least 3 months to ensure a good foundation of learning, working our way through the curriculum and becoming comfortable with a simpler method of learning.

Details
i offer my services as a private tutor, someone you can stick with for a longer duration of time. i provide packages (as seen in the rates section), which you may choose. ultimately, i am flexible and am here to make your experience easier: if you decide after the first few lessons that you'd like to be provided with a bigger package (e.g 18 hours), i am more than willing to accommodate you and work together to offer a price worth paying for.
i provide a free, first 1 hour session for everyone which will cover the following: getting to know each other a little; discussing what my lessons will look like; how we will work through the curriculum; any issues and requests for further revision in particular areas; general idea and what our next step will be.
material wise, i recommend you have a new edition 9-1 gcse edexcel geography textbook. please ensure if you have a one part textbook, that it covers both physical and human geography.
