About Horton
I am undertaking a Double Degree of Mechatronics and Finance at the University of Sydney and I am also a part of the staff at USYD as a tutor for Mechatronics.
I am an extremely social guy who likes to have a laugh, is very into his music (I love to DJ at events) and unfortunately I support the Dragons in the NRL.
Currently, I am in Madrid doing my exchange program whilst also learning Spanish. This means that all lessons will have to be online, and largely in the afternoon/evening due to the time zone difference.

With my classes, both private tutoring and as a teacher at USYD, I prioritise the development of intuition about concepts above all.
I am a student who has struggled to grasp similar things, and i am sure like you, I always feel like I am spending my time reteaching myself content from teacehrs and lecturers in a way that makes sense away from the numbers or millions of words on the slide.
In this way, in our lessons we will focus on 'getting to the issue' - that is, finding out what the actual task or topic is underneath all of the jargin and added complexity.
Because of this, my classes are especially good for anyone who feels 'stuck' or 'lost'.
