About Shir
I'm Shir, an ACCA-qualified Accounting and Finance professional who enjoys making Accounting easier to understand.
I came from a science background and had never studied Accounting before university. I had to learn the subject from scratch and work out how the different concepts fitted together. When it finally clicked, I began helping first-year students who were struggling with the same concepts.

My lessons focus on Accounting Principles and fundamentals, especially for students who are new to Accounting or struggling with the basics.
We will break down each concept step by step, use simple examples, and practise questions together. My focus is on helping you understand the logic behind Accounting, rather than simply memorising debit and credit rules.
Lessons can be adapted to your current level and areas of difficulty, whether you need to strengthen your foundation, prepare for an upcoming test, or simply make Accounting easier to understand.
