About Kason
My name is Kason. I am currently a Year 1 student in Adelaide University, studying Bachelors of Medical Radiation Science (majoring in Nuclear Medicine). Although I now score well in my exams and landed in the program of my choice, I used to be very lost on how should I learn effectively as I could not bear with the sudden increase in content covered in high school. This all changed when I met my tutor who used visual examples and analogies which explained abstract concepts in a clear, concise way. Now, possessing the capabilities to do so, I would like to share my resources and my way of learning, hoping it will help students trekking on my past journey, especially in large, daunting topics such as calculus, organic chemistry, etc.

I provide notes and questions in my tutorial sessions, which usually last for 1-1.5 hours. I have 2 years of experience and have taught virtually every topic under the high school curriculum to at least one of my students, but I also teach elementary and secondary school students. I encourage students to engage in the lesson as I will ask questions to test if they are able to grasp the critical points in the content that I am teaching. I also like to give analogies and down-to-earth examples to explain abstract topics, and I have specific mind maps for topics such as calculus, respiration and photosynthesis, and organic chemistry to help understanding these large topics.
