About Jacopo
I try to make students understand challenging topics through associations of idea and down to earth examples. My forte is organic chemistry I (from organic acid/base to substitution reactions, from functional groups to elimination reactions)
If you study but do not retain the important information is because you are probably overthinking.
I will give you hints on how to recognize chemical patterns.

My name is Jacopo Samson and I have a Ph.D. in Chemistry/Material Science.
After conceiving the Ph.D, I have taught chemistry-related subjects to a myriad of different students for more than a decade.
Students come from different background but they can be divided into two main categories: qualitative or quantitative minded.
No matter what category you belong to, I will make sure that you understand your basics and do not just memorize concepts to pass your exams.
