I am Haitian and I have been living in NY for the past 13 years, I have an MA in Mathematics and I have been tutoring Mathematics, French and other subjects at College level for the past 6 years, working one to one or in small groups with 20-25 students each semester, and as a contractor during private tutoring since 2019.

I most tutor Mathematics given that my background is Mathematics, but given that I was born and raised in a French speaking and also I am very proficient in the language, I do also work with student seeking to acquire or improve their knowledge in the language. My tutoring strategy is student based, identifying the student's strength an weakness in the subject so I would know which area(s) to focus more.

Details
I would like to receive a rate of $20 per hour per session, any cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. I the cancellation is done within 24 hours of the scheduled time or if there is a no show I want to be compensated for the $20 per hour. In some instance I could travel to the client home and have the session(s), but the rate will vary depends on the distance travelled with a minimum of $30 per hour.
