About Xander
Lived in Beijing for 23 years before moving to the United States, where I have been living for the past 9 years. I am fluent in both Chinese and English, with a strong command of Mandarin as my native language.
I have always been a good student in school and I enjoy learning as well as teaching. I am a very patient person, and I like helping others understand new knowledge step by step. I especially enjoy sharing Chinese language and culture with students from different backgrounds.
My goal is to make learning comfortable, clear, and encouraging, so students can improve with confidence.

Mandarin
I offer personalized Chinese language lessons for students of different levels, from beginners to intermediate learners. My teaching style is patient, structured, and adapted to each student’s needs. I focus on speaking, listening, and practical communication, while also helping students understand grammar and sentence structure clearly.
In my lessons, I use a combination of textbooks, conversation practice, and real-life examples to make learning effective and interesting. I can help with daily conversation, pronunciation, reading, writing, and exam preparation if needed.
My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment so students can improve their Chinese step by step with confidence.
