About Sarah
I studied English at the University of Angers (double LLCE license English-German). Then, I taught French in a high school in the United States for a year (in Michigan). Then, I did a master's degree in language teaching.
I am married to an American and I only speak English with my husband. I lived in the United States for several years. So I speak English fluently. I gave English lessons for a year to two French teenagers. I also worked as a teacher of FLE (French as a Foreign Language).
I currently live in Sweden and therefore can only offer online courses.

I can teach English at all levels (from beginner to advanced). I have a standard American accent. It is therefore the accent that the students will learn with me. I start by asking my students what they expect and identifying what they need. When I teach, I tend to work the different areas of the language together without compartmentalizing them (pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, culture, etc.). I don't think they should be worked individually, but rather together. I like to give students time to self-correct when they can and correct them without discouraging them. It is important for me not to make them lose confidence in themselves.
I can also help with homework or offer conversations in English to improve.
As I currently live in Sweden, I can only offer online courses (telephone, zoom, skype, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
