About Aida
Hello there, my name is Aida! I was born in Barcelona, Spain. After completing a diploma in IB in my hometown I moved to England where I did a BA in Fine Art at Newcastle University and I am currently hold an offer for Master's in Art Psychotherapy in Brunel University London starting September 2025. I have previous experience volunteering as a tutor as well as a Teaching Assistant. In the next academic year I will be working again as a Teaching Assistant in a SEN school. I have a student centred approach where the student plays a more active role in their learning and develop a sense of curiosity. The lessons are laid out to cater for their needs to make students feel engaged and responsible for their own learning.
The typical length of a lesson can range from 45 minutes to an 1 hour and 30 min depending on the needs of the students.
I have previously volunteered as a tutor as part of a program aiming to help kids from marginalised background have some help with their homework after school. I have also worked as a teaching assistant in a theatre school, helping out with drama and singing lessons. Currently I am working as a Teaching Assistant in Early Years as a Teaching Assistant, specialising on one-to-one support for SEN.
