About Scott

I have worked in hospitals and customer service to interact with people in a courteous manner. I have also been tutored before so I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the table. You are not alone in your endeavor to achieve your goals, let's push toward those goals together.

About the lesson

When I teach people I help them realize the answer by pointing them in the right direction instead of just giving them the answer like so many teachers or tutors. I don't tell people "do this, then, this and you get this." I help them start the equation then give them the "what do you think the next step is, we used this in a previous problem, you might need to think about doing this." I try to encourage critical thinking rather than spelling anything out.
