About Cerys
Hello! I’m a dedicated and professional tutor with a strong passion for helping students grow in confidence and truly understand the subjects they’re studying. My teaching style is calm and patient. I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported. I am training to be a Primary School teacher and my experience teaching has helped me understand how to teach all different students. I use clear explanations, practical examples, and step-by-step guidance to make even challenging topics easy to understand. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to suit their individual needs. My goal is always the same: to help each learner build solid skills, gain confidence, and make real, lasting progress.

I focus on making learning personalised and for building confidence. I like to break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and use frequent checks for understanding. I like to encourage students to think out loud so I can understand their reasoning and help them to become independent learners. Typical lessons are one hour long, which allows for instruction, practice and feedback. I have a degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Swansea University. I am currently training to become a Primary School Teacher. My lessons are for students who are in Primary and up to GCSEs in science.
