About Jose

Hello! My name is Jose Manuel, and I am a language enthusiast with a degree in Modern Languages and Translation from the University of Alcalá. Over the years, I have gained solid experience in teaching and communication in French, Spanish, and English. I have completed several professional certifications in digital marketing, data analytics, and project management, which have enhanced my ability to teach languages in a practical and engaging way. These experiences have also helped me become highly organised, adaptable, and culturally aware—qualities that I bring to every lesson. I am passionate about helping my students achieve their language goals, whether it’s improving conversational fluency, preparing for exams, or building confidence in professional settings. My personalised teaching approach ensures that every class is dynamic, goal-oriented, and tailored to the unique needs of each student.

About the lesson

About my classes My conversational French classes are designed to be dynamic, practical and personalised to the needs of each student. I use techniques focused on: - Communicative methodology: I prioritise interaction and practical use of the language, addressing everyday and professional situations. - Real-time correction: During conversations, I correct mistakes constructively so that you learn immediately and effectively. - Cultural focus: I integrate cultural aspects so that you not only learn the language, but also its context. - Typical class duration: Each class lasts 1 hour, enough to practise intensively without losing concentration. My experience and qualifications: I have a degree in Modern Languages and Translation from the University of Alcalá, specialising in English and French. In addition, I have experience teaching French as a private tutor and I have a deep knowledge of teaching the language thanks to my experience in Lyon, France. Who are the classes aimed at? My classes are designed for intermediate to advanced level students (B1-C1) who wish to improve their fluency and confidence in spoken French. They are ideal for teenagers and adults interested in perfecting their English for travel, work, study or everyday conversation.

Jose gave me English lessons a few months ago and I think he is one of the best non-native speakers I have seen speak, understand and transmit English. Unlike at school, where we learnt the structures or vocabulary by heart, with Jose I have learnt to understand everything logically and I think it will be very useful for me to remember what I have learnt in the future. It goes without saying that he has been a very approachable, friendly and understanding teacher. There are few people I could recommend him more :)
