About Desiree
Hi! I'm a Bay Area native, born and raised in San Francisco. I graduated from Balboa High School and earned my bachelor's degree from the University of San Francisco. I have experience working in patient care, which has strengthened my communication, patience, and ability to connect with people from all backgrounds. I enjoy helping students build confidence in math by creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where they can learn at their own pace.

I take a patient and supportive approach to tutoring, making sure students understand each concept before moving on. I explain math problems step by step, answer questions, and adapt my teaching style to each student's learning pace.
A typical lesson includes reviewing homework or class material, practicing problems together, and focusing on areas where the student needs extra help.
I offer math tutoring for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, helping with homework, test preparation, and building confidence in math.
