About Coco
Hello there! I recently graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from UCLA. I performed organic chemistry research during my time there and got A's in all organic chemistry related courses. I am very passionate about both the subjects I teach and teaching itself!
I truly believe that learning any subject can be fun and fulfilling when you develop a fundamental understanding of it. To achieve this, I strive to create a strong foundation for my students by driving home the basics and building up from there. Learning is not a linear process, but anyone can learn anything given time and adequate support. I will do my best to give you that support and we will go at a pace that is comfortable for you :)

I have taught elementary, middle school, and college students. For each individual student, I created personal plans and put together unique supplemental work every session. I have experience in writing structured college-level tutoring regimes that are easy to follow along.
*Before tutoring begins, I have an introductory meeting with my students to get to know them, identify their individual learning style, and discuss their struggles. This will act as my guide to how I approach the lessons. We will then formulate a plan together at the end of the meeting.
The usual lesson will generally start with a "quiz" to gauge how much was learned and then we will ease into the core content. At the end, we'll revisit the long-term plan and address any concerns.
