Add and subtract fractions with the same denominator. Solve simple word problems using fractions. How to solve Arithmetic questions Students will be able to understand the logic, algebra equations. Lesson Outline Introduction “What is a fraction?” Show example: ½, ⅓, ¾. Explanation Like fractions: Same denominator just add/subtract numerators. Example: 2/5 + 1/5 = 3/5 Unlike fractions: Different denominators → find LCM, convert, then solve. Example: 1/2 + 1/3 = (3/6 + 2/6) = 5/6 Solve together: 3/7 + 2/7 = ? 4/9 – 2/9 = ? Give them Assignment. Homework: Solve 5 fraction problems from the workbook. Write 2 real-life examples where you see fractions. Multiplication, Geometry, Algebra) in the same format
