About Emma
I trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and gained a First Class Honours Degree in July 2021. I studied violin with Andre Swanepoel and viola with Dorothea Vogel. I also have Violin Grade 8 with Distinction.
I love working with children and young people, and have lots of patience and enthusiasm. I am friendly and have a cheerful disposition, and am organized and keen to make lessons fun.

I teach violin,viola and piano for all ages from 6 years up, from beginner to Grade 8, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
I am keen to make my violin and viola lessons fun and enjoyable, and to share my passion for music with others. Close attention is taken to good technique, but tuition will span a large variety of musical genres.
I have lots of patience and am enthusiastic and encouraging.
I prepare students for ABRSM or Trinity violin examinations Grades 1 - 8, but some of my students just learn for pleasure.
