About Misha
My name is Misha and I come from a beautiful city Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. I do love CS, psychology, chess, swimming, table tennis, and of course gym. I went to pursue my studies in the UK after I graduated from my school in Ukraine, but now I am on my gap year to have some rest. So I decided to benefit to people around me with the stuff I enjoy — teaching others.
I do love tutoring because I enjoy seeing a face on the edge of crying turns into one saying "damn, I think I start to get it". I also aim to convey a message that maths not really about cramming some dull formulas to solve equally useless equations, but that it has a lot of mundane, real-life applications.

Maths teachers are often grumpy or can't find a personalized approach to everyone because they are teaching the whole class. This issue is not the case on my lessons because all the attention is completely yours. Also, you should NOT be afraid of making mistakes with me because it is so, so common in maths. Though, I will teach you some fancy techniques to avoid miscalculations or logical gaps in your solutions.
I have both worked and volunteered as a maths tutor for over a year for folks of different age, so you should feel comfortable on my lessons. If I managed to find approach to a bunch of naughty kids, you definitely won't be an exception :)
Lessons can take from 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your preferences. They are aimed mostly at L6 finding themselves lost in Single / Further Maths or to GSCE students. Those who prepare for SMC, BMO, or simply want to dig into some olympiad level stuff are also very welcome!
