About Justin
I took Calculus my junior year in high school and received an A as well as a 5 on the AP exam. I then took Calculus 2 my senior year which was a dual enrollment class through Loyola-Chicago University and received an A in that class as well. I have since used my extensive knowledge of the subject to help several friends receive A's in the class as well as 4's and 5's on the AP exam. I am currently majoring in Computer Science at Miami University and have had to take multiple math classes already for the schedule given to me by the school.

While I have most recently taken Calculus based classes, these classes require a solid basis of the fundamentals of math, especially algebra. My methodology for helping friends succeed in their math classes in the past has been to try and teach a certain concept, then go over practice problems related to the concept until I am confident the student has a firm understanding of it. My main focus when tutoring is not only for the student to learn the material, but to help the student find joy in learning the it as the problem solving present throughout mathematics can feel very rewarding. If a student can find joy in learning the subject nothing will stop them from succeeding in it.
