About Kathleen
I enjoy teaching students and seeing them learn in different ways. Not all students learn the same way or the same pace. Being able to work with their progress is my goal. Practice, practice, practice. In order to fully understand what you're learning, students need to be able to verbalize to me their thought process as well as show me how the problem is done. I do not rush my students and I encourage them to go at their own pace and I will meet them where they are at. It's about progress, not perfection.

I'm fun, creative, and humorous. I enjoy showing my middle school students different ways to learn math. There are many online platforms that are good resources to teach math interactively, such as Geogebra and ThatQuiz. All math content builds on itself so reviewing and incorporating basic skills is a part of each of my lessons.
