About Anagha
Hi, I’m Anagha, a Graduate Environmental Engineer with a background in Chemical and Environmental Engineering. I have always enjoyed Math and Science and, through my engineering studies and professional experience, I’ve developed a strong passion for problem-solving and learning.
I want to teach because I enjoy helping students understand concepts that may initially seem difficult. I believe that with the right explanation, patience and practice, every student can improve their confidence and abilities. I aim to make my lessons friendly, supportive and engaging while helping students achieve their academic goals.
I look forward to helping you learn, improve and become more confident in Math and Science!

My approach to tutoring is focused on making Maths and Science simple, understandable and enjoyable for students. I believe students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind a concept rather than simply memorising formulas or answers.
I tailor each lesson to the student's individual level, learning style and areas that need improvement. I first identify the student's strengths and difficulties, then explain concepts step-by-step using clear examples and practical applications. I encourage students to ask questions and work through problems themselves, while providing guidance whenever they are unsure. I also use practice questions and worked examples to build confidence and improve problem-solving skills.
As a Graduate Environmental Engineer currently working in the engineering field, I regularly apply mathematics, scientific principles, analytical thinking and problem-solving in my professional work. I have a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Pollution Control and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, giving me a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics and Science.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although this can be adjusted depending on the student's age, level and learning needs. My lessons are suitable for primary and high school students who want to strengthen their understanding, improve their academic performance, prepare for assessments or simply become more confident in Maths and Science.
My goal is not only to help students get the correct answer, but to teach them how to approach problems independently and develop skills they can use throughout their studies.
