About Maia
Hi! My name is Maia and I am a young university student going into my second year of studying Occupational Therapy at ACU. I am a graduate from the year 2023 and have personal experience with the English curriculum. I’ve always been fascinated by the power of language and how it allows us to express ideas and connect with others! Through tutoring I’ve loved the opportunity to help students develop essential skills like critical thinking and creativity. It has been a joy seeing students gain confidence in their writing and understanding. I hope to inspire the love of learning and assist to master new or challenging concepts in English!

Maia has been tutoring my son (senior high school student) in the last 12 months. His marks have improved and he is overall more confident in approaching the subject matter. I recommend Maia as she is very capable at teaching, and is very approachable and kind.
Maia was very kind and friendly and my 11 year old son felt very comfortable with her and got a lot out of what she taught him. She was very knowledgeable and helpful with what we were trying to achieve. Highly recommend!
Maia is an enthusiastic and flexible tutor. She teaches with great care and confidence which she instilled in my daughter. Maia is very encouraging.
