About Dave
I am a fresh graduate with valuable hands-on experience gained through my On-the-Job Training at the University of Southern Mindanao. During my training, I had the opportunity to teach and present in front of different groups of students, which helped me develop my communication, teaching, and presentation skills. I was not only able to interact with students from our university, but also with students from other schools who visited our institution to learn about entomology. This experience taught me how to explain scientific concepts clearly, engage with students of different backgrounds, and create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and participating. Through these experiences, I became more confident in sharing my knowledge and helping others understand topics that may initially seem difficult.

I believe I would be a good Math and Science tutor because I am patient, willing to learn, and committed to helping students truly understand what they are studying. I know that Math and Science can sometimes be challenging, especially when students have difficulty understanding certain concepts, so I want to make learning easier by explaining lessons in a simple, clear, and step-by-step way. I am not the type of tutor who will simply give students the answers; instead, I want to guide them through the process and help them develop their own problem-solving skills and confidence. I am also willing to adjust my approach depending on how each student learns because I understand that everyone has different strengths and areas that need improvement. If given the opportunity, I will put in the effort to make every tutoring session productive, encouraging, and comfortable for the student. I may not know everything, but I am willing to prepare, research, and continuously improve myself so I can provide the best support possible. I believe my patience, dedication, and willingness to help others make me a strong candidate for this position.
