About Anar
Hello! My name is Anar, and I am currently a senior heading into the 2026-2027 year of High School at Terre Haute, Indiana. I have always been into Math and Science as a kid so academics have been a really relentless pursuit of mine. Beyond learning myself, I'm also really into teaching others. Helping my own peers in the classroom and my friends gives me a lot of joy, and I want to help others beyond my inner circle gain the skills they need to become independent problem solvers. I'm not the kind of person to just try and solve a problem quickly. I don't care for shortcuts or just learning how to do something. I like breaking things down and learning how they function from top to bottom. I don't just want to know how but also WHY. I apply this same strategy in mathematics and problem-solving, and I think it will help those that I teach a lot.

I always strive to teach mathematics through simple logic so that students can gain a conceptual understanding. I understand how hard it is to learn when taught by trying to memorize endless formulas and following repetitive procedures. However, by building a strong base of the topics through deep conceptual mastery of fundamental topics, students can come up with their OWN approaches to solving problems. My lesson plans relies breaking down topics through simple analogies and visualization so students understand WHY rather than just HOW. Through this, they are able to actually grasp the meaning of the math and adapt when facing harder problems instead of just trying to find the answer.
