About Ragini
I am a visual artist, write and art educator. I have recently held two solo exhibitions at David Dale gallery Glasgow (2023) and at the Goethe-Institut Glasgow (2022). I have also exhibited internationally as part of group exhibitions. As a writer, I have participated in poetry readings. I have also self published two comic books. 'Don't pick your nose' a comic book I made in 2019 is part of a permanent collection at the Zine Library at Asia Art Archive.
As an arts educator I have worked over the last three years for delivering creative sessions for children and young students. I have extensively worked with Rumpus Room, an artist initiative for art, education and play. I have also delivered art sessions for Goethe-Institut Glasgow. my work in education is collaborative, fun and interactive.

About the lesson

The lessons will span an in depth introduction and engagement with drawing, painting, casting, digital art, play, printmaking, critical and creative discussions, illustration, and zine making. My sessions are conducted by demonstration of the activity. The student is allowed to take creative liberty within the activity. The sessions end with easy exercises to indulge in spare time.
The typical session will last for one and a half hours with possibility for longer sessions if desired.
During my formal bachelor and masters education in visual arts, at both the prestigious Maharaja Sayajirao University in India and The Glasgow School of Art respectively, I extensively explored traditional, contemporary, and digital mediums. These include painting, drawing, sculpture, casting, printmaking, mural painting, video making and animation
I have extensively worked with children and young adults in delivering creative sessions. I have as an arts educator for projects supported by Glasgow Life Museum, British Council, and Our Shared Cultural Heritage.
My lessons are ideal for students between the age of 3 to 17 and can be adapted to individual needs and preferences.
