About Safa
I've seen tutoring from both sides, as a student and someone who's explained topics to my friends many times during VCE. I mimic the techniques of top tutors you will find on YouTube. I understand what works and what doesn't. I'm the type of person who loves to really break things down, explain every little detail until it makes perfect sense. I think that mix of experience and just genuinely enjoying explaining things would make me a pretty good tutor.

My Teaching Principle: I prioritize building a strong foundation of understanding that utilizes a student's problem-solving ability, this is much more successful in tests and exams. I break down complex topics into clear steps that can be followed in tests, focusing on areas where the student struggles most. I encourage active participation and questioning to ensure comprehension. I foster a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable describing their issues with a topic. Typical Lesson Length: I recommend 60 minutes, but I can adjust the length based on the student's needs and attention span. Qualifications/Experience: I study pre-medicine, health, and sciences, this has provided me with a very strong background in mathematics to get here. I have experience explaining complex scientific concepts, which translates well to breaking down mathematical ideas. I have a strong academic record, demonstrating proficiency in mathematics. Who My Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for students in grades 3-10. I can adapt my teaching style to students of different ages and skill levels. I am particularly well suited to students who respond well to logical and clear path of steps in solving problems.
