About Carol
My name is Carol, and I’ve been a teacher for a long time—over 25 years! I’ve worked with students from Pre-K all the way up to 5th grade, and I love helping kids learn in a way that makes sense to them.
I know that schoolwork can sometimes feel tricky or even frustrating, and that’s okay—that’s why I’m here! I’m very patient, and I will always take the time to explain things in different ways until it “clicks” for you. You can ask me questions anytime, and I will never rush you.
I like to make learning feel comfortable and positive, so you can feel confident and proud of yourself. My goal is to help you not only get better at your schoolwork, but also feel more confident and believe in yourself.

I am an experienced educator with over 25 years of teaching across early childhood and elementary grade levels, up to 5th grade. Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of learners, including students in general education, those needing extra academic support, and children with diverse learning needs.
My background includes teaching in Pre-K through elementary classrooms, providing literacy and math intervention, and supporting students in building strong foundational skills. I specialize in creating a patient, structured, and encouraging learning environment where children feel confident and motivated to succeed.
As a tutor, I focus on meeting each child where they are, using clear, engaging strategies to strengthen understanding and build independence. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to develop their confidence and love of learning.
