I'm heading to study Engineering and I studied Further Maths, Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A level.
My approach to learning is the same as my teaching style: understanding why something works from first principles, not just memorising a method to reproduce it. In lessons, I build this intuition first, then connect it to exam technique. Sessions usually run 60-90 minutes (but are flexible) and I focus on the areas the student finds most difficult so we can make the most progress.
