About Vikram
I'm a Year 12 student currently studying A-Level English, History, Maths & Further Maths. Since an early age I've had an avid interest in creative writing, which developed across my GCSE years into a passion for English more broadly. At GCSE I achieved 2 9s in English Language and Literature, including 100% in all coursework. Having done my GCSEs somewhat recently, I can uniquely relate to how overwhelming and confusing English may seem, and am eager to help students excel through their studies.

I tutor English Language for students from Years 9 to 11 studying any GCSE syllabus. Having achieved a high grade 9 (including 100% in creative writing and all coursework) I can confidently say that English Language GCSE is all about making your answers 'tickable' for examiners. Therefore, lessons are focused on nailing exam technique and understanding of the different response structures. I'd be happy to teach different parts of the exam, from comprehension to creative writing, advise on coursework or review students' writing. Lessons can range from 45 minutes to 2 hours and tend to be very flexible to meet tutees' demands. I also offer English Literature GCSE tutoring for Macbeth, Of Mice and Men & An Inspector Calls.
