About Elena
I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in their learning and reach their full potential. I particularly enjoy tutoring Business because it’s a subject that connects directly to the real world, from understanding how businesses make decisions and manage money to exploring marketing, finance, entrepreneurship and the factors that influence success. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable ideas and helping students develop the confidence to apply what they know to different business situations and exam questions. For me, tutoring is about more than just teaching the content, it’s about creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving. I want to share my enthusiasm for Business with my students while helping them develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed.

My lessons are tailored towards every student’s specific needs, making sure each student gets the grade they desire. I provide each of my students with revision resources and make sure my lessons are fun and interactive - as a student myself I know how to understand your problems on a deeper level as I experienced them first hand.
I go through everything in thorough detail, from how to put context into your questions, how to write 6,9,12 markers, how to answer in the way the exam board wants, etc. With my students, we’d go through everything you’ve learnt in terms of content and more (so for example I might be giving you better examples you could use in your exam which your teacher might not have taught you) and what I’ve done with past students also is I’ve provided them with flashcards for every single topic which I give to them to learn in sections. Closer to the exams, we’d go through past papers together, and I’d give you past papers to do for homework which I’ll sit and mark in detail (not like the teachers at school, I’ll tell you specifically why you’ve lost the marks, why I’ve marked you a certain way, and how you can get that mark up) and for extra reassurance I’ll sometimes ask you to ask your teacher to mark it too.
I offer both individual one-to-one lessons and small-group sessions with friends, with discounted rates available for group bookings.

I can’t recommend Elena enough, she got me from getting grade 6s in business to getting a 9 in my actual GCSE!
What made the biggest difference was the way she explained topics in an easy and understandable way. She made the lessons fun in a way that I actually started looking forward to them!
I know I wouldn’t have achieved a Grade 9 without her support. (I literally revised for my tests using the revision materials she made me…)
If you’re looking for a tutor who can genuinely make a difference to your grades and confidence, I would highly recommend her!!Elena is an excellent tutor whose adaptability, patience and encouraging attitude all shine through. She will strive to help you improve in your subject and achieve the best grades possible.
Elena helped tutor business to me throughout year 11, I appreciated the fact that she was very dedicated and always believed in me, and she was able to mark any extra work I would give her. She helped boost both my confidence and my grades while making sure our lessons were enjoyable. I ended up getting an 8 and I would definitely recommend her to whoever is looking for a business tutor :)
Elena is my friend from school who I know to be dedicated, hard working and motivating. She tutored me during maths GCSE, boosting my grade from a 6 to a 9. I would definitely recommend her to anybody looking for a tutor
Elena is a fellow student with a strong determination and drive who achieves exceptional grades. She explains concepts with a clear and advanced understanding allowing for an increased knowledge in those who she teaches. I would highly recommend her to help any student increase their grades.
