About Bandana
I’m a gap year student preparing to study Radiotherapy and Oncology at university, with a strong passion for science, maths, and helping others learn. I’ve been tutoring for over a year, supporting students from Year 7 to Year 11, and I really enjoy making tricky topics more manageable and less stressful. Having recently gone through the GCSE and A-level process myself, I understand the challenges students face and work to create a calm, supportive environment where they can thrive. Outside of tutoring, I love learning new languages – I’ve studied Spanish and am currently learning German – so I really value the process of learning and how different people absorb information best.

I take a calm, supportive, and student-centred approach to tutoring, tailoring each lesson to suit the individual needs and learning style of the student. My aim is to build both understanding and confidence, breaking down complex topics into manageable steps and using real exam-style questions to reinforce learning. Lessons typically last one hour and are structured to include a mix of teaching, guided practice, and review. With over a year of experience tutoring students from Year 7 to Year 11, I’m familiar with the common challenges across different ages and levels. I ensure that every student leaves each session with a clearer grasp of the subject and a solid plan for their next steps.
