About Saskia
I am a gap year student who has just completed my A Levels, with an A* in biology, an A in chemistry and a B in French and am going on to study veterinary medicine at Liverpool university in 2023. At GCSE level I achieved a 9 in biology and a 8 in chemistry. Throughout my time at school I have become accustom to the GCSE specifications and best revision techniques that actually enable student to, most importantly, understand what they are learning but also keep the knowledge in their heads. Exam technique is another area in which I want to help students and I recognise that not everyone thinks and learns in the same way. I am passionate about helping students learn and understand science. I want to share the knowledge I have gained about studying to make their time at school less stressful and help them to achieve the grades they deserve.

My teaching method is first finding out the strengths and weaknesses of the student so that I can focus on helping them with the specific areas of the course in which they are weakest. Then I explain the content of the course that they need tailoring what I teach to the specification. This is followed by exam technique and learning how to write to the mark scheme.
