About Luyao
Hi! My name is Luyao, you can also call me Felicia. I aim to bring a warm, global perspective to my teaching. While I haven’t formally taught Mandarin before, I’ve often helped my foreign friends learn Chinese in daily life — and I’ve found that I truly enjoy sharing the language. I’m a naturally patient and cheerful person. My goal is to make every student feel comfortable and confident, without pressure. I focus on creating a safe, positive learning space where students feel supported, and where learning Chinese becomes something they look forward to. I believe that clear explanations and understanding the "why" behind the language help students remember and use it more effectively. I always try to make lessons not just useful, but meaningful and fun. I’d love to be part of your learning journey!

My lessons are typically 50 to 60 minutes long and are suitable for most levels. I create a relaxed and encouraging online environment, using interactive materials, conversation practice, and real-life scenarios (if applicable) to make learning enjoyable and effective.
With a strong academic background and cross-cultural experience, I aim to help you not only understand the language but also feel confident using it in real situations. Looking forward to learning with you!
