About Luke
I am a finance professional, who graduated Loughborough University with a Masters in Mathematics. I have various different experiences in teaching and tutoring. This includes tutoring several classes of six 10/11 year old students for their 11+ exams. Every student I tutored in this capacity passed their exams and went on to grammar schools. I also have experience tutoring mature students who wanted to retake their GCSE maths exams. This was again successful and I managed to get people who had previously received failing grades or not even attempted the exams ended up passing comfortably.

I am very friendly and approachable. I believe the best way to learn about something is by making it fun and applying practical scenarios to the problems we are solving. I find that by associating some of the more abstract topics covered in maths to real life scenarios, you can enhance a students understanding of the subject and provide them with useful techniques to carry forward that knowledge and understanding.
