About Grace
I have assisted in lessons at my school throughout Sixth Form so I have the ability to explain a concept in multiple ways to ensure it is fully understood. Having tutored for several years I believe in allowing the student to take the lead in the topics they wish to cover. I gained 3As in Chemistry, Biology and Maths A-levels and I am currently in my 3rd year of studying undergraduate chemistry. I love to help others and teach. I have a real enthusiasm for my subjects and would love to convey this when tutoring.

My approach is to begin tuition with a free first session to discuss areas of particular concern and to develop a plan to ensure that all areas of concern will be addressed before exams. I am able to tutor up to A-level in chemistry, biology and maths. My tutor sessions will normally consist of spending at least half the session on the concept and then the remaining time on putting the understanding developed into questions and problems. I like to keep a chart of topics the student requires for their curriculum and it is colour coded with areas they are happy with and areas of concern, as the student progresses they are able to see their progress as there are fewer areas of concern. I believe this is also helpful in their independent study as it acts as a revision checklist highlighting the areas to focus on the most. These sessions will be friendly and casual but maintain focus throughout to ensure progress is made.
