Gabriel was brilliant with my son, who was bobbing along at grade 5, not sure how to improve, and needed a higher grade for A Levels. Six months later, in time for the GCSE exams, he was achieving grade 7+. He felt that Gabriel was the first person to show him how to think like a mathematician, so although Gabriel was strong on exam technique, and prioritised the areas which would yield the most marks most easily, the real difference was in the mental training.

My only regret is that my son didn't start with Gabriel sooner. Unexpectedly, my son is now very keen to do maths at A Level - such a transformation from a child who joked initially that he couldn't be 'engaged' with maths. Gabriel of 'Engaged Maths Tutors' has been tutoring my son for the past five months for the higher level GCSE Maths and the OCR Level 3 FSMQ Additional Maths. Our home educated daughter had been following an IGCSE course with another provider for almost two years in preparation for this year's summer exam (higher paper).
